Faith

My faith in Christ is what keeps me going.

Sometimes life is hard and things don't go as planned. Sometimes it feels like I'm at the bottom of a dried up well! My faith in Jesus Christ keeps me hanging on. I KNOW I have a purpose. My existence is not an accident. I hold on to these beliefs to keep me grounded.

My faith reminds me what family means. My faith tells me who my family is. My faith in Christ kerps my head up and my feet moving. I am a child of the King HIMSELF, I am worthy, I am important, I am following God's directions and that is the ONLY path I want to take.

Life could be easier. Life could be more fun. Life could be a lot different if I chose another path. But the HARD path, the road LESS traveled, where I hit my knees to pray,  this is the road I was made for.

I love my faith, and I love sharing it with you. Thanks for reading!

Garden Daze

These little babies LOVE their perch hubby made for them!

So, we are a little late, but the garden is coming together nicely! I can't wait to watch my little hens free ranging and eating bugs from the garden.

On Friday we will have three new hens! They are grown up and already laying. My coparent brought to my attention someone who was GIVING AWAY their chickens!! I am so excited!

Tomorrow we'll put the seeds in the garden out back and also plant the shrubs in the front. I am so glad the ground is finally ready for seeds. My dad picked out all the seeds this year, what a giant help to me!

Sweet hubby working hard to build me a trash can trailer!

My husband and my dad have been working so hard on the homestead the past few weeks. We have had project after project and they lead the charge with no complaints (most of the time). What a wonderful blessing to have such hard working men in my life!

Y'all stay tuned for me going back to school, raising chickens, gardening, and whatever else decides to happen un the near future!

Farm Time

I am HERE!

I am finally a farmer. Thanks to my parents buying 100 acres of land I can make my dreams come true! Its been a long road here and I am so thankful!

Long Road...

I never thought my husband and I would get the opportunity to be in this perfect place. We are newbies and have very little experience, but we are ready to work. There are so many things to learn, this last year has been overwhelming.

Beginning

We started with nothing, and we still have plenty of it! Eight little pullets living in the garage of my parents house ignited my inner homesteader and now there is no stopping me!

I gope to build a great community here and share my adventures along the way!
