About Ashley

This is me!

My name is Ashley Field.

I am a wanna be farmer.

I am a mom to two daughters and a step-mom to one daughter.

All three babies

I have four sisters and two nieces. A lot of girls around this homestead!

I LOVE chickens. 

I have eight now and getting three more this weekend.

I never thought this would be my path in life.

I am blessed beyond measure with a great husband, wonderful family and strong faith.

This isn't a religious blog but I will share my faith, as I feel the need to do so.

So in 2017, my dad bought 100 acres of land in central Mississippi. My mother suffered her third stroke in March of 2017. My husband and I decided to move to the new homestead with everyone to help take care of my mom.

Things haven't been easy, at all, but life gets better every day! My husband quickly found a job, my mother is healing nicely, and I am going back to school soon! I always dreamed of a lot of land and being able to work it into something for my children's future, but this us above and beyond my expectations!

Here I plan to share my triumphs and my failures. My questions and my future plans. I hope you all enjoy the ride!!
